ABOUT CALEBO

Calebo are a 4-piece introspective indie-rock band from London, UK.

Singer-songwriter Dan Caleb, guitarist Georgia Maria, bassist Rob Ouseley and drummer Roy Lubugumu met on the famous London open-mic circuit in 2017.

Dan Caleb’s songwriting harks back to early 90s Seattle, evoking the spirit of bands like Pearl Jam and Nirvana, via the melodic and lyrical sensibilities of introspective songwriters such as Elliott Smith and Sufjan Stevens.

Georgia Maria’s inspired guitar playing conjures the virtuosity of the likes of John Frusciante and Joe Bonamassa. The rhythm section of bassist Rob Ouseley and drummer Roy Lubugumu provide the driving backbone to Calebo’s infectious songs.

Calebo are renowned for their energetic live performances, having played sell-out shows at venues across London. The band has worked with engineers Andy Baldwin (Blur, Faith No More) and Mike Hillier (Kasabian, Rag'n'Bone Man) and debut album 'Kaleidoscopic Mind' was released in July 2023.
